With the current global challenges attention for multilateral cooperation is needed more than ever. International public goods are under pressure. Remedying this requires a coordinated approach, binding agreements and international funding.
The needs of the world require a proactive stance of Flanders: from solidarity fully committing to working with international organizations. The interests of the world community and the Flemish policy objectives lie close together. Flanders seeks multilateral cooperation, promots common objectives in a context of sustainable development and justice for all.
This framework will form a good connection between global issues, international targets and the Flemish policy.
