Solution in sight for Iron Rhine

On 16 January Minister Weyts announced that Flanders will reinstate the diplomatic consultation on the Iron Rhine. The reason is the positive evaluation of the so-called 3RX route by the feasibility study of three alternative routes.

Reinvestment in Dutch schools abroad

On 12 December, the Dutch Minister of Education Ingrid van Engelshoven announced at the Committee of Ministers of “Taalunie” that the Netherlands will reinvest in Dutch-speaking education abroad. Thanks to this investment, 14.000 Dutch and Flemish children can be taught in their mother tongue.
