In 2015, Talbot House, the British soldier club in Poperinge during the Great War, celebrates its 100th anniversary. Throughout the year, events and activities are organized both in Belgium and abroad. Each of these significant events originates from the historical stories of the Talbot House: June 1915, the British Army takes initiative to establish Talbot House; December 11, 1915, the official opening ogf Talbot House; December 12, 1915, Tubby Clayton celebrated his birthday at Talbot House with a first musical performance; and December 15, 1915, the first overnight stay in Talbot House.
Activities and public events are:
- A temporary exhibition Dingley Dell in Guildhall Library in London from November 2015;
- The memorial concert with new compositions by the Symphony Orchestra of Flanders in Cadogan Hall, London,
- A extension of the permanent exhibition in Talbot House, Poperinge from December 2015;
- The movie 'An extraordinary man in the Every Man's Club in Talbot House', Poperinge, from December 2015;
- The living room 'concert party' on December 12, 2015
