During this session on co-creation we look into the co-creative process and multi stakeholder partnerships for the implementation of the Agenda 2030.
Global challenges can only be addressed with innovative and structural solutions that are preferably shaped through co-creative processes with a diversity of actors.
The purpose of co-creation is to encourage partnerships in which all actors can influence the process and the result of the process. Each actor is contributing from his/her expertise to the process.
But this new approach also brings up new challenges. How do you work closely with a partner on the other side of the world? How do you break the assistance pattern between North and South in order to build a balanced partnership? How do you manage to exceed the stage of information sharing?
The municipalities of Zoersel and Bohicon signed a covenant in 2016. Together they have developed a roadmap to act against climate change. |
Organization: Municipalities of Bohicon and Zoersel on climate change
Both partners exchange good practices and share common trainings. The joint initiative also helps to raise awareness on climate change. Climate change has a bigger and more visible impact on Bohicon than Zoersel. By working together on climate, Bohicon brings global climate change closer to the people.
International dialogue on equity in education |
Organization: VVOB
This programme of VVOB spreads interesting teaching practices that can boost the Flemish policy and practice on equity and diversity in education. VVOB encourages his partners to use the images from equity in education in the South for their work in Flanders.
Food for the Future is a project in which 5 partners together with young people, experts, farmers, etc. look for ways to feed the growing global population in a sustainable way. |
Organizations: KU Leuven, Colruyt Group, Rikolto, UCLL, Province of Flemish Brabant
Food for the Future wishes to fuel the debate by bringing together people from the business community, governments, consumers and civil-society organisations. On top of this, the partners literally want to ‘feed’ the debate from practice by setting up three sustainable food chains.
