Minister-president Jambon received Dutch minister Sigrid Kaag at the Errera House in Brussels on 14 January. Minister Kaag, responsible for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, visited our country for a broader trade mission for Small and Medium Enterprises with a focus on sustainable mobility and digitalisation.
The close cooperation between Flanders and the Netherlands ensured a full agenda. Among other things, views were exchanged on International Corporate Social Responsibility, digitalisation and climate.
Special attention was paid to a number of current trade dossiers such as Brexit and the impact on Flanders and the Netherlands, and the future partnership between the EU and the United Kingdom.
